a note from the artist--
This is a photo of the sculpture “Laocoon and His Sons.” It is housed in the Vatican, which is where I took the photo. It has been one of the most famous ancient sculptures since it was excavated in 1506. I took the photo on July first, 2019 when I was on vacation. I spent quite a few minutes standing in the crowd, looking at this sculpture; its safe to say it struck me more deeply than anything else I saw.
