the prime minister 

and a buddhist monk sat for

hot, chamomile tea.


the monk pulled a gun 

from his robes, he shot at the 

gaping minister


overcome by a

malefic psychosis or 

perhaps—nirvana.



Via Encyclopedia Britannica: A disgruntled Buddhist monk, Talduwe Somarama, shot the prime minister on Sept. 25, 1959, and he died the following day.
