"I captured this photo during my last winter in Seoul, on my way to work. I was waiting for the crosswalk, as I did every morning, to get to the bus stop. The cars rush down this road, but when the snow fell in the city, it felt a lot quieter. I was really sentimental this winter, as I knew it was my last one in Korea, and the changing of the seasons made my emotions that much stronger, as it signaled the passing of the year. I love snow in the city, it makes the views that much prettier."

"In the summer of 2024, one of my friends insisted that we spend a night on a tiny island in Korea, sleeping in a hut on the beach. It was by far one of the worst nights of sleep I have ever had, but one of the most special and fun times spent with friends. We arrived at lunch time and were able to explore the muddy, sandy flats that extended far into the ocean before the tides came in. There were a handful of other explorers, just having a stroll or even digging for clams. The mud flats were a great contrast to Seoul, where we worked, as they were so quiet and calm. The cloudy weather and slight rain made the view even better, as the light grey sky touched the blue grey ocean on the horizon."
